OPPORTUNITIES
Call for Case Studies: Cities, Science and Sustainability
The International Workshop on "Cities, Science and Sustainability" is a collaborative effort between the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World (TWAS), the Consortium for Science, Technology and Innovation for the South (COSTIS) and the United Nations Development Programme's special unit for South-South Cooperation (UNDP-SSC) and is being administered by TWAS. The project consists of two parts:(1) Each participant will prepare a case study report that will serve as the basis for discussions at the international worshop. An advisory committee composed of experts in the field will help to select participants from the pool of candidates submitting proposals. (2) Following the workshop and based on the recommendations of the advisory committee, authors will be expected to re-work their case studies, which will then be edited by project staff before being published by TWAS, UNDP-SSC and other partners.
